When the Watchers were chained

Seeking to pierce the veil that sustains
Their separation from the mortal plane

So Babel wasted away
Though her iniquities could not be contained
A temporary refrain
Before her time will come again

A philosophy retained
The weak exist to serve in pain
Corrupting what remained
Of wisdom and right ruling
Exemplify the inhumane

Ebb and flow, time is deceitful
Millenia spawn apathy lethal
Swift decaying ecclesial
